Establishment of TOYOTA
The founder of Toyota Motor Corporation was Kiichiro Toyoda. Kiichiro's father, Sakichi Toyoda, was an inventor of automatic looms, but as it was his belief that "this is the age of the automobile", he wanted to start the production of automobiles.

However, he was unable to see the industry develop in his lifetime, so Kiichiro became the successor to his father's dream and began
producing vehicles for the Japanese domestic market.

Toyota Motor Corporation produces vehicles under 5 brands, including the Toyota brand, Hino, Lexus, Ranz, and Scion. It also holds a 51.2% stake in Daihatsu, a 16.66% stake in Fuji Heavy Industries, a 5.9% stake in Isuzu, and a 0.27% stake in Tesla,

The name first appeared in 1926 under Daimler-Benz but traces its origins to Daimler-Motoren-Gesellschaft's 1901 Mercedes and to Karl Benz's 1886 Benz Patent Motorwagen, which is widely regarded as the first automobile. Mercedes-Benz is part of the "German Big 3" luxury automakers, along with Audi and BMW, which are the three best selling luxury automakers in the world.
