Modification of Exhaust Manifold & Thermal Analysis using ANSYS10.0.         

ABSTRACT

                   

The heat liberated in the combustion chamber is dissipated into atmosphere by the use of exhaust manifold, which cause damage to the atmosphere because of high temperature and composition of combustion gases.Exhaust manifold plays a vital role to avoid damage to the atmosphere caused by emissions coming out of engine.So it is important to do thermal analysis of manifold to know the variations in the temperature at every stage. Finally some of important suggestions for the modifications of exhaust manifold design which will help in order to avoid air pollution
